Alice Lancaster

Alice was born about 1188 in , Barton, Westmorland, England.¹ Alice's father was Gilbert Fitzreinfride and her mother was Hawise Lancaster. Her paternal grandparents were Roger Fitzreinfride and Rohaise Meschines; her maternal grandparents were William de Lancaster and Helawise de Stuteville. She had two brothers and two sisters, named William, Roger, Helewisa and Serota. She was the third oldest of the five children.
