Thomas I de was born in 1314 in , Up Holland, Lancashire, England.1 Thomas I de's father was Robert II de Holand and his mother was Maud La Zouche. His paternal grandparents were Robert I de Holand and Elizabeth de Salmesbury; his maternal grandparents were Alan La Zouche and Eleanor de Segrave. He had five brothers and ten sisters, named Robert, Otho, John, Alan, Alan, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Margery, Matilda De, Margaret (Mary), Jane, Alianore de, Alianore de, Isabella and Isabella. He was the fifth oldest of the sixteen children. He died at the age of 46 on December 26th, 1360 in , , Normandie, France. He was buried in Grey Friars, Stamford, Lincoln, England.1 1 General Notes
