Robert was born in 1015 in Normandy.1 Robert's father was Tancred Le Guiscard De Hauteville and his mother was Fresende Of Normandy. His paternal grandfather was Rabel II Tancred; his maternal grandparents were Richard II The and Pope Papie Duchess Of Normandy. He had a brother named Roger I Guiscard. He had a half-brother named Drogon Count. He died at the age of 70 on July 17th, 1085 in Cephalonia, Italy.1 General Notes
