Jacob Dewitt 
Jacob was born in 1669 in prob. Kingston, Ulster County, New York.1 Jacob's father was Tjereck Claessen Dewitt and his mother was Barbara Andriessen. His paternal grandparents were Claes (Claus) Nicholas Dewitt and Taatje Van Leuven; his maternal grandparents were Andries Luycaszen and Jannetje Sebyns. He had a brother named Jan (John). He died at the age of 85 in 1754 in Kingston, Ulster County, New York. He was buried in Kingston, Ulster County, New York.1 1 General Notes
