Roger was born about 1071 in Street, Sussex, England.1 Roger's father was Ralph Sire De Quesnay and his mother was Maud Waterville. His maternal grandfather was William de Waterville. He had three brothers and a sister, named Ralph, William, Alexander and Sibyl. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Philip de, Lord Caenby Chesney and Sybil. He died before 1109 in Deddington, Oxfordshire, England.1 General Notes
