Maritje Christofel was born in 1656 in Kingston, Ulster Co. N.Y..1 Maritje Christofel's father was Christofel Davidts and her mother was Cornelia DeVos. Her maternal grandparents were Andres DeVos and Aelje Ever. She had three brothers and a sister, named Jan, David, Joris George and Anatntje. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Abraham, Andries, Issac and Debra. She died at the age of 46 in August 1702 in Kingston, Ulster Co. N.Y..1 General Notes
