Andries came to America in May 1641 on the ship "Den Eyckenboom",with his wife and two children.
He was a carpenter by trade.
He occupied a farm at Bethlehem from 1642 to October 1648.
He was referred to as "gerechts persoon" which means member of the court.
Andres and Aelje were married in a religious ceremony in 1620 in Amsterdam, Holland.1 They had two daughters named Catlyatje and Cornelia.
