Elizabeth Cowper

Elizabeth was born after 1560.¹   Elizabeth's father was John Cowper and her mother was Elizabeth Ironsides.  Her paternal grandparents were William Cowper and Margaret Spencer; her maternal grandfather was John Ironsides. She had five brothers and two sisters, named William, Edward, John, Nicholas, Richard, Katherine and Judith.  She was the third oldest of the eight children.
