Edward Cowper

Edward was born after 1560.¹   Edward's father was John Cowper and his mother was Elizabeth Ironsides.  His paternal grandparents were William Cowper and Margaret Spencer; his maternal grandfather was John Ironsides. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Nicholas, Richard, Elizabeth, Katherine and Judith.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.
