Alexander Comyn 
Alexander was born in 1217 in England.1 Alexander's father was William Earl of Buchan Comyn and his mother was Margaret Colhan. His paternal grandparents were Richard Comyn and Hextilda Fitzuctred of Tynedale; his maternal grandfather was Fergus Earl of Buchan. He had two sisters named Margaret and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 73 in 1290.1 General Notes
