Her paternal grandparents were Walter De Caus and Anneis (Nmn-Walter) De Cauz; her maternal grandparents were Richard Basset and Matilda De Ridel. She had a brother and a sister, named Roger De and Maud De. She was the youngest of the three children. She had a half-sister named Maud.1 -
