Philippe III was born on May 1st, 1245 in , Poissy, Yvelines, France.1   Philippe III's father was Louis IX Capet and his mother was UNKNOWN UNKNOWN.  His paternal grandparents were Louis VIII "The Lion" Capet and Blanca Alphonsa de Castile; his maternal grandparents were Raimund Berenger de Provence and UNKNOWN UNKNOWN. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Louis, Jean, Jean Tristan, Pierre, Robert, Helene, Blanche, Blanche, Marguerite, Agnès and Isabelle.  He died at the age of 40 on October 5th, 1285 in , Perpignan, Pyrénées-Orientales, France.  He was buried on December 3rd, 1285 in , St. Denis, Seine-St-Denis, France.1 1
