Louis IX was born on April 25th, 1215 in Château de Poissy, Poissy, Yvelines, France and his baptism took place there on September 21st, 1215.1   Louis IX's father was Louis VIII "The Lion" Capet and his mother was Blanca Alphonsa de Castile. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named Philip, Robert I, Jean "The Younger", Alphonse, Stephen, UNKNOWN, Philip Dagobert, Alphonse, Jean "The Older", UNKNOWN and Isabelle.  He died at the age of 55 on August 25th, 1270 in , Near Tunis, Tunisia, Barbary Corsair.  He was buried in , St. Denis, Seine-St-Denis, France.1 1

‌Louis IX and UNKNOWN were married in a religious ceremony on May 27th, 1234 in , Sens, Yonne, France.1   They had six sons and six daughters, named Louis, Philippe III, Jean, Jean Tristan, Pierre, Robert, Helene, Blanche, Blanche, Marguerite, Agnès and Isabelle.
