Constance was born about 1249 in , Isle de Chypne, Sicily, Italy.1   Constance's father was UNKNOWN UNKNOWN and her mother was Beatrice de Provence.  Her paternal grandparents were Louis VIII "The Lion" Capet and Blanca Alphonsa de Castile; her maternal grandparents were Raimund Berenger de Provence and UNKNOWN UNKNOWN. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Louis, Charles II, Philip, Robert, Bèatrice, Blanche and Marie Elizabeth Isabella.  She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.  She died in 1302.1
