Jane Byron

Jane was born about 1414 in Clayton, Lancashire, England.¹ Jane's father was John Byron and her mother was Margery Booth. Her paternal grandparents were Richard Byron and Joan Colewick; her maternal grandparents were John Booth and Joanna De Trafford. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Richard, Nicholas, Ralph, Elizabeth, Margaret, Helena and Catherine. She was the third youngest of the eight children.
