George Brownell 
George was born in 1646 in Little Compton, Rhode Island.1 George's father was Thomas Brownell and his mother was Ann Bourne. His paternal grandparents were Robert Brownell and Mary Wilson; his maternal grandparents were Richard Bourne and Judith Cowper. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William, Thomas, Robert, Mary, Sarah, Martha and Ann. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 72 on April 20th, 1718.1 General Notes
