Joan was born about 1375 in Raby, Durham Co., England.1   Joan's father was John Of Gaunt Prince Of England and her mother was Catherine De Roet.  Her paternal grandparents were Edward III King Of England and Philippa of Hainault; her maternal grandparents were Payn De Roet and Mrs Payn De Roet. She had three brothers named John, Henry Bishop of Winchester and Thomas. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named King Of England, Henry, Philippa of, Elizabeth and Catherine of.  She died on November 13th, 1440 in Howden.  She was buried in Lincoln Catheral, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England.1 1 


Joan's first family with Robert De Ferrers

‌Joan and Robert were married in a religious ceremony before September 30th, 1390.1   They had two daughters named Elizabeth and Mary.


Joan's second family with Ralph De Neville

‌Joan and Ralph were married in a religious ceremony on November 29th, 1396 in Chateau De Beaufort, Meuse-Et-Loire, France.1   They had six sons and three daughters, named Earl Of Salisbury Neville, William, Robert, George, Henry, Edward Nevill Lord, Eleanor De, Catherine De and Cecily.
