John was born on October 19th, 1655 in Milford, New Haven, Connecticut, USA.1 John's father was Thomas Beach and his mother was Sarah Platt. His paternal grandparents were John Beach and Miss Moss; his maternal grandparents were Richard Platt and Mary Wood. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Samuel, Zophar, Mary and Sarah.
