Her paternal grandparents were Pedro IV 'The Aragon Valencia and Mallorca and Leonora Princess of Sicily; her maternal grandparents were Robert De Bar and Princess of France Marie. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Jaime Prince of, Fernando Prince of, Pedro Prince of, Antonia Princess of and Juana Princess of. She was the second oldest of the six children.
