Absalom Sparks 
Absalom was born on March 10th, 1844. Absalom's father was William Sparks and his mother was Nancy Crawford. His paternal grandparents were George Sparks and Elizabeth Wells; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Crawford and Betsy Townsend. He had three brothers and five sisters, named William C., Edward Sparks, James, Luanna, Katherine T. "Kate", Fanny Jane, Elizabeth and Margaret Ann. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 88 on August 23rd, 1932.-
