William CRAWFORD 
William was born in 1640 in Kilbirnie, Scotland. William's father was Lawrence CRAWFORD. His paternal grandparents were Hugh Crawford and Marion Colquhoun. He had a brother named William , Sr.. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 62 in 1702 in Virginia.General Notes
William resided in Westmoreland Co.,VA William's cause of death was murder. He was robbed and killed because hewas thought to have a large sum of money on his person at the time. Thekiller(s) were never found.
