Sarah Murray 
Sarah was born on February 9th, 1760 in ,Rowan,North Carolina.1 Sarah's father was Thomas Murray and her mother was Margaret Jones. Her paternal grandparents were Morgan MURRAY and Sarah Hawkins; her maternal grandparents were Phillip Jones and Jemima Murray. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Christopher, Morgan, Thomas, Ruth, Ann and Mary. She was the oldest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Nicholas, Shadrack, Elizabeth and Allie. She died after 1830 in Campbell County, TN.2 General Notes

Thomas was born on February 6th, 1776 in New River, Montgomery Co., Virginia.3 He died at the age of 79 in 1855 in Jonesborough, TN. He was buried in Bacon Family Cemetary.3 4
