William Foster 
William was born in 1698 in Essex Co, Virginia. William's father was Robert Foster and his mother was Elizabeth Garnett. His paternal grandparents were Richard Forster and Sussan Garnett; his maternal grandparents were John Garnett and Ann Taylor. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Robert, James, John, Richard, George, Thomas, Anthony, Barbara, Margaret and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died about 1767 in Amelia Co, Virginia.General Notes
