Elizabeth Demarest 
Elizabeth was born about 1725 in New Castle County, Delaware. Elizabeth's father was Jan Demarest and her mother was Alice Elsie Earle. She was an only child. She died about 1774 in Orange County, North Carolina.
Elizabeth and John were married in a religious ceremony about 1744 in Culpeper County, Virginia. They had seven sons and six daughters, named Joshua, Francis A., John Radford, Joshua R., George, Daniel, William F., Anna, Pheobe, Eunice, Clarissa 'Clary', Senah 'Siney' and Millicent.
