George Browning

George was born about 1761. George's father was John Browning and his mother was Elizabeth Demarest. His paternal grandparents were Francis Jr. Browning and Elizabeth Carter Lloyd; his maternal grandparents were Jan Demarest and Alice Elsie Earle. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Joshua, Francis A., John Radford, Joshua R., Daniel, William F., Joshua, Anna, Pheobe, Eunice, Clarissa 'Clary', Senah 'Siney' and Millicent. He was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children.
