John Coffin 
John was born about 1536 in Portledge, Devonshire, England. John's father was Richard Coffin and his mother was Wilmot Chudleigh. His paternal grandparents were John Coffin and Phillippa Hingston. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Edward, James, William, Ann, Christian, Elizabeth, Johanna and Margaret. He was the fourth youngest of the nine children. He died in Alwington, Devonshire, England.-
