Raufe Booth 
Raufe was born about 1422 in Barton, Preston, Lancashire, England. Raufe's father was Robert Booth and his mother was Dulcia De Venables. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named William, Geoffrey, Hammond, John, Robert, Edward (Edmund), Peter, Philip, Ellen, Lucy, Alice, Joanne and Margery. He was the third oldest of the fourteen children.
