Robert was born about 1384 in Barton, Preston, Lancashire, England.  He was an only child.  He died on September 14th, 1460 in Dunham Massey, Bucklow, Cheshire, England.

Robert's family with Dulcia De Venables

‌Robert and Dulcia De were married in a religious ceremony on May 3rd, 1409.  They had nine sons and five daughters, named William, Raufe, Geoffrey, Hammond, John, Robert, Edward (Edmund), Peter, Philip, Ellen, Lucy, Alice, Joanne and Margery.
