John Prewit 
John was born in 1781 in Henry,VA. John's father was Richard Prewit. His paternal grandfather was *David I Prewitt. He had six brothers and a sister, named Abraham, Samuel, Stephen, David, Thomas, Esau and Rachel. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 79 in 1860 in Orange Co,IN.-
