Oscar Lee was born on March 31st, 1883. Oscar Lee's father was Ross Marcellus Gaston and his mother was Mary Alice Wiley. His paternal grandparents were Larkin Gaston and H. Reed; his maternal grandparents were John Wesley Wiley and Elizabeth Ray Washburn. He was an only child. He died at the age of 73 on December 24th, 1956 in Belmont,Gaston Co.,NC.-
