Samuel Cowels 
Samuel was born about 1639 in Hartford,Hartford,CT. Samuel's father was John Cowels and his mother was Mehitable Hart. His paternal grandparents were James (Jr) Cowels and Mrs. Ann Cowels. He had a brother and five sisters, named John, Hannah, Sarah, Esther, Mary and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died on April 17th, 1690 in Farmington,Farmington,CT.
‌Samuel and Abigail were married in a religious ceremony on June 14th, 1660 in Farmington,Farmington,CT. They had three sons and three daughters, named Samuel (Jr), Timothy, John, Abigail (Jr), Hannah and Sarah.

Hannah was born on December 10th, 1664 in Hartford,Hartford,CT. She died at the age of 36 on September 5th, 1701.
Timothy Cowels
Timothy was born on November 4th, 1666 in Hartford,Hartford,CT. He died at the age of 69 on August 30th, 1736.
