Jennings P. was born in 1850. Jennings P.'s father was Simon Christi and his mother was Elizabeth Pierson. His maternal grandparents were John Pierson and Nancy P. Gee. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John W., Henry, James, F. Tilghman, dau, Mary, Sarah and Amanda. He was the youngest of the nine children.-
