Gisele of was born about 1070.1   Gisele of's father was Guillaume II 'the Great' Count of Burgundy and Macon and her mother was Stephanie of Longwy.  Her paternal grandparents were Raymond I Count of Burgundy and Judith (Elena, Eleanor) of Normandy; her maternal grandparents were Adalbert III Count of Longwy, Duke of Upper Lorraine and Clemence de Foix. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Stephen Count of Vienne, Raymond of Count of Castile, Galicia, Coimbra and d'Amous, Ermentrude De, Sibylle (Mathilda) of and Clemence of.  She was the second youngest of the six children.  She died after 1133.1

‌Gisele of and Rainer III Margrave of Montferrat were married in a religious ceremony about 1080.  They had a son named Guillame III Margrave of Montferrat.

‌Gisele of and Umberto II 'il Gross' Count of were married in a religious ceremony in 1090.  They had a son and a daughter, named Amadeus (Amadeo) III Count of and Adele.
