Leonidas LITTLE was born on July 26th, 1832 in Pitt Co., NC. Leonidas LITTLE's father was Frederick Dinkins Little and his mother was Harriett R. Knight. His paternal grandparents were Jesse Little and Frances Dinkins; his maternal grandparents were Willis Knight and Sarah Foxhall. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Willis Knight, Jesse, Frederick Dinkins, John Henry, Mary Francis, Sarah C., Julia, Felicia, Harriett Louise and Lucy Dinkins. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died in 11 JAN 1884 in Pitt Co., NC. He was buried in Old Sparta Cemetery, NC.General Notes
