Permelia Hudson 
Permelia was born in 1753 in Prince Edward County, VA. Permelia's father was Charles Hudson and her mother was Susannah "Susan" Patrick. Her paternal grandparents were John Hudson and Elizabeth L. Harris; her maternal grandfather was Daniel Patrick. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Charles, David Bird, William, Rebecca, Lucy, Eliza, Sarah and Elizabeth. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.-
