William Biggs

William was born on May 18th, 1779 in Martin Co., North Carolina. William's father was Kader Biggs and his mother was Hannah Ward. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Biggs and Marguerite Eastwood; his maternal grandparents were William Ward and Elizabeth Unknown. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Rueben, Asa, Nancy, Penny and Sarah. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
