Marguerite was born about 1728 in Norfolk Co, Virginia. Marguerite's father was Thomas Eastwood and her mother was Ruth Cherry. Her maternal grandparents were Faithful Cherry and Patience Unknown. She had a brother and three sisters, named John, Elizabeth, Mary and Vilah. She was the oldest of the five children.-
