Asa Biggs

Asa was born on January 17th, 1788 in Martin Co., North Carolina. Asa's father was Kader Biggs and his mother was Hannah Ward. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Biggs and Marguerite Eastwood; his maternal grandparents were William Ward and Elizabeth Unknown. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, Rueben, William, Nancy, Penny and Sarah. He was the second youngest of the seven children.
