Melville John was born on July 11th, 1930 in Millicent SA. Melville John's father was * Donald Stark and his mother was * Lavinia May Holland. His paternal grandparents were * Alexander Stark and * Anne Rachel (Rachel) Dalton; his maternal grandparents were * David Crisp Holland and * Anna Maria Oppermann. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Colin James Allen (Jim), Edward Ross, Donald Alexander, David Willis, * Derrick Arthur, Mervyn Harry, Annie Rachel Maud (Rae), Phyllis Vida, Beryl Doris, ? and Margaret Lavinia. He was the youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 62 on March 19th, 1993 in Millicent SA. He was buried in Millicent Cemetary SA.-
