* John Dalton

* John was born about 1756.  * John's father was * Edward Dalton and his mother was *Jane Staples.  His paternal grandparents were *John Dalton and *Anne Rivers; his maternal grandparents were *John Staples and *Jane Taylor. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Edward, Thomas, Thomas II, Anne, Elizabeth, Jane and Sarah.

‌* John and *Anne were married in a religious ceremony on January 5th, 1780 in Farningham, Kent ENG.  They had four sons and three daughters, named * Robert, William, Henry, John, Anne, Hannah and Jane.
