Lydia Forrester 
Lydia was born in 1835 in Tasmania. Lydia's father was * Robert Forrester and her mother was Susanna Hammond. Her paternal grandparents were * Robert Forrester and * Isabella Ramsay. She had two sisters named Ann and Isabella. She was the second oldest of the three children. She had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Robert Samuel, * William Henry, Ernest George, John Robert, Eliza Matilda, Susannah J, Kara M and Mary Ellen.
Lydia and James were married in a religious ceremony in 1850 in St Matthew's RC Ch Windsor NSW.
