Alfred Dalton 
Alfred was born in 1843 in Kent ENG. Alfred's father was * James Dalton and his mother was * Jane Longhurst. His paternal grandparents were * Robert Dalton and * Anne Reed; his maternal grandparents were * Robert Longhurst and * Mary Hodges. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named James Victor, Robert Thomas, Arthur, Emily Wilson Moar, * Anne Rachel (Rachel), Mary Anne, Ellen, Harriett Jarret, Matilda, Martha and Amy. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 63 on December 24th, 1906 in Nairne SA.-
