Joan was born in Ludlow,Shropshire,England.  Joan's father was Piers , Lord of Trim de Geneville and her mother was Jeanne (Joan) de Lusignan.  Her paternal grandparents were Geoffrey (Sir) Baron De GENEVILLE and Maud De Lacy; her maternal grandparents were Hugh XII de Lusignan Count de la Marche and Jeanne De Fougères. She had two sisters named Beatrice de (Joinville) and Maud de (Joinville).  She died on October 19th, 1356 in Ludlow,Shropshire,England.
