Heinrich Burwin II of was born about 1170 in Schwerin,Mecklenburg. Heinrich Burwin II of's father was Heirich Burwin I Mecklenburg and his mother was Mathilde of Saxony Princess. His paternal grandparents were Pribislaw of the Obotrites Prince and Woizlawa of Norway; his maternal grandparents were Heinrich V of Saxony and Bavaria Duke and Ida Von Bliescastel. He had a brother and two sisters, named Nikolaus II, Elisabeth and Mecklenburg. He was the oldest of the four children. He died on June 5th, 1226.General Notes
