Her paternal grandparents were Count Arnulf I of Looz and Agnes of Mainz; her maternal grandparents were FOLMAR V of Metz and Mathilda of Egisheim. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Count Arnulf II of, Count Gerhard II of, Count Hugo of, Sophie of, Agnes of, Imagine Of and Guda Von. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died before 1193.
