Ada de was born in 1146 in of Huntingdon,Huntingdonshire,Scotland.  Ada de's father was Prince Henry of Scotland Earl of Huntingdon and her mother was Ada De Warenne.  Her paternal grandparents were St. David I King of Scotland and Matilda (Maud) of Northumbria; her maternal grandparents were William II De Warenne [Earl Of Surrey] and Isabel De Crepi De Vermandois. She had four brothers and six sisters, named William I "The Lion" King Of, David of, David, Malcolm IV the Maiden King of, Aufrica, Marjory Princess of, Margaret, Margaret of, Isabella and Maud. She had a half-brother named Waleran.


Ada de's first family with Floris III "The Crusader" Count of Holland

‌Ada de and Floris III "The Crusader" Count of were married in a religious ceremony in 1162.  They had two sons and a daughter, named Guillaume III Cnt of, Dirk VII and Princess Margarete of.
