Ada was born in of Huntingdon,Huntingdonshire,England.  Ada's father was David Canmore Ist Earl of Huntingdon and her mother was Matilda de Keveliock.  Her paternal grandparents were Prince Henry of Scotland Earl of Huntingdon and Ada De Warenne; her maternal grandparents were Hugh de Keveliock 3rd Earl of Chester and Bertrade (Beatrix) Evreux de Montfort. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Robert, John Scott, Margaret, Matilda and Isabelle.  She died about 1265.
