He had three brothers and eleven sisters, named Louis, Charles, King of Lorraine "The Carolingian", Valtrude, Rothilde of, Ermengarde Duchess of, Ermengarde Princess of, Bertha, Abbess of, Princess Irmgard of Roman, Rotrud Princess of, Gisle Princess Of, Rotrude, Helletrude De and Gerberga of. He had eight half-brothers and ten half-sisters, named Carloman, Welf, Welf Count Of, Konrad II Comte, Conrad II, Hugo, Eudes King Of, Robert I King of, Eve or Berthe, Eve Or Berthe D', Judith, Judith of, Adalgunde, Burgundy, Adele (Adelaide) of, Bertha, Regilinde and Oda.  He died in Near Brescia,Lombardy,Italy.2
