Claudia de Valois of was born on November 12th, 1547 in Fontainebleau,,France.  Claudia de Valois of's father was Henry II de Valois King of France and her mother was Catherine Of Florence De Medici.  Her paternal grandparents were Francis I de Valois, King of FRANCE and Claude, "The Good" Queen Of FRANCE; her maternal grandparents were Lorenzo de Medici de Urbino Duc de Urbino and Madelaine de Auvergne de la Tour. She had five brothers and four sisters, named François II, King Of, Louis Prince Of, Charles IX, King of, Henry III, King of, Hercule François of, Elizabeth De Valois Princess of, Margaret, Jeanne Princess and Victoire Princess.  She was the third oldest of the ten children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Henri, Henri De and Diane De Poitiers.  She died at the age of 27 on February 20th, 1575.  She was buried in Nancy,,France.
