Francis I de Valois, King of was born on September 12th, 1494 in Cognac,-,France.1   Francis I de Valois, King of's father was Charles (Duc Angoulême) de Valois and his mother was Louise De Savoy.  His paternal grandparents were Jean D' Orleans and Marguerite De ROHAN; his maternal grandparents were Philippe II, Duke Of Savoy and Marguerite De Bourbon. He had two sisters named Margaret de and Marguerite Countess Of.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died at the age of 52 on March 31st, 1547 in Rambouillet,-,France.  He was buried in St. Denis Cathedral,-,France.1 1
